SUMMARY

1ST HALF FINALS...we came off a big unexpected win last week against Post Office #1...This week we played Prince Cafe for all the marbles...not bad for a bunch of guys who don't take things too seriously...unfortunately we lost the night in the 15th game shooting at cork...so things couldn't have been more even...actually looking at the stats we shot very well...we had a team average of 55.07 with only 1 shooter with under a 45 average (TED)...we had 15 team tons....so we were doing out job dropping the numbers...where we fell apart was at the double rings...9 missed ins and 24 missed outs...those missed outs will f' you every time...we only had 2 shooters over a 2.0 average in cricket which is probably why we dropped two of those games...either way it was a good half and hopefully everyone realizes the potential they each have...if we put any effort into darts we'd probably actually be pretty good...

THE LOW LIGHTS

"dolla bills" were off the table for the playoffs...don't worry in just a few weeks you all can start contributing again...

this week we hit our goal of a 50 team average with a very impressive 55.07 average...the only shooter under a 45 average was Ted (43.54)

as team we shot 35.29% of our shots under a 40...if we look deeper under the covers once again we see that these culprits had more than 30% of their shots under a 40......Andy had 53.85% of his shots under a 40...Bill had 50.00% of his shots under a 40...Jr had 42.86% of his shots under a 40...Johnny had 38.89% of his shots under a 40...Ted had 38.46% of his shots under a 40...and the following shooters had at least 1 game average under a 40...Jr (25.67), Ed (31.00), Bill (31.50), Andy (31.67), Ted (34.50) and Jeff (35.00)....that's a lot of names on these lists...

Ted shot a 3...Jr shot a 7 and Ed shot a 9...

this week we had 9 missed ins...good job keeping it to single digits...Ed, Johnny, Jr and Jeff each had 2 missed ins...Andy had 1 missed in...Ted didn't have a shot at an in....and Bill was 2-2 at the ins...

this week we had 24 missed outs...Johnny led the way with 7 missed outs...Ed, Jr, Andy, Jeff and Ted each had 3 missed outs...Bill had 2 missed outs...

Ted had the lowest cricket average of the night with a 1.50...Jr (1.75), Johnny (1.83) and Ed (1.86) round out the under 2.0 club...

Johnny, Jr, Ted and Bill each had 0-mark cricket round....

Bill had a 20.00% win rate...Ed and Jr had a 42.86% win rate...

THE HIGH LIGHTS

we get back to over a 50 team average...this week our team average was a very very nice 55.07....Jeff led the way with a 66.57 average...Ed really stepped it up this week with a huge 63.04....Johnny (52.92), Jr (51.97) and Andy (51.88) round out the over 50 club...Bill works his way into the over 45 club with a 48.42 average...

let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....Jeff and Ed (80.95% or 4 shots) were the shooters to have over 70% of their shots over a 40...Johnny (43.00) was the only shooter to average over a 40 every game...

this week we had 15 team tons...that's a lot of points...Jeff led the way with 5 tons...Ed had 4 tons...Jr had 2 tons...Johnny, Andy and Bill each had 1 ton.....Ted wasn't "in the mood" to have any scores in the triple digits...

Jr had the high score of the night with a very impressive 160...Jr, Jeff and Ed each shot a 140...Andy shot a 133...nice scores guys...

Ed had 3 double ins...Jeff and Bill had 2 double ins each...and Andy had 1 double in...Johnny and Jr both went 0-2 at the ins...Ted didn't have a shot at the ins...

Jeff and Jr led the way with 2 double outs each....Ed and Ted each had 1 double out...

Jeff led the way with a 2.29 cricket average...Bill (2.20) rounds out the over 2.0 club...

Jeff (3 @ 42.86%) led the way with 3 >=3-mark rounds...John and Bill each had 2 >=3-mark rounds...Ed, Jr and Ted each had 1 >=3-mark round....

Ted led the night with a 60.00% win rate...Jeff and Johnny each had a 57.14% win rate...Andy had a 50.00% win rate...

CONCLUSION

well the first half is over...we have to brace ourselves for a possible move up in divisions...that should be fun...haha...either way we did a great job in a division we really don't belong in...and in the playoffs everyone seemed to do their part....we just have to be more consistent on the out shots...we had last night in our grasps...we just started too slow and missed too many out shots...enjoy your holidays...don't be afraid to pick up a dart and practice....the darts single shoot is Jan 21 if anyone is interested...and the 2nd half starts January 28....
