SUMMARY Well here we go again...it's the finals...and what a wild ride the night turned out to be...from the sidelines things looked pretty sloppy...lots of missed ins (12) and missed outs (22)...we had 10 shots under a 20...we had 6 0-mark rounds in cricket...on the bright side we had a team average of 55.18...Jr hit a 180...we had 13 team tons...5 different shooters had an out...we actually won 2 cricket games...at one point we went 1-6...then at another point we went 5-1....so talk about a crazy night... THE LOW LIGHTS "dolla bills" were off the table last night for the finals...but from my "quick" calcs we would have had 9 fines for under 20...2 fines for C-rule...9 fines for missed ins...0 fines for missed outs...5 fines for squats in cricket...that looks like a solid 25 in "missed" fines...seems like a lot for a championship game...jeez.... this week we hit our goal of a 50 team average with a very impressive 55.18 team average...Ted (36.42), Matt (43.25) and Johnny (44.29) were the only shooters with lower than a 45 average... as team we shot 31.71% of our shots under a 40...which is very good...if we look deeper under the covers once again we see that these culprits had more than 30% of their shots under a 40...Ted had 53.85% of his shots under a 40...Johnny had 52.63% of his shots under a 40....Matt had 42.86% of his shots under a 40....and Ed just misses the mark with 31.82% of his shots under a 40...that's a lot of names on this list....and the following shooters had at least 1 game average under a 40...the following are their low game average of the night...Ed (20.50), John (22.33), Ted (30.00), Matt (31.00), Jr (31.40) and Andy (38.67)....too many names on these lists...esp for a finals game... Jr shot a 7 twice.... this week we had 12 missed ins...Ed had 4 missed ins...Jr had 3 missed ins...Jeff and Ted had 2 missed ins each...Matt had 1 missed in...Johnny was a perfect 2-2 at the ins...Andy didn't even get a shot at the ins... The following shooters shot less than a 2.0 average in cricket...Ed (1.20), Jr (1.75), Andy (1.75) and Ted (1.75)... Andy and Ted each had 2 0-mark cricket rounds...Ed and Jr each had 1 0-mark cricket round each... Ed and Jr only had a 42.86% win rate... THE HIGH LIGHTS this week we had a 55.18 team average...Jeff led the way with a 66.88 team average...Jr (66.15) and Andy (62.51) round out the over 60 club...wait let me double check that...yup...the boobie twins both shot over a 60 average...see how hitting a 180 can catapult your average...very nice....Ed (52.57) rounds out the over 50 club... let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40...Jeff (95.00% or 1 shot) had the best % of shots over a 40...and the one miss was a set shot where a left a 40...not bad.....Jr (73.91% or 6 shots) and Andy (73.68% or 5 shots) also shot more than 70% of their shots over a 40...the following shooters averaged over a 40 each game....the following is their low game average...Jeff (60.00)... this week we had 13 team tons...Jeff led the way with 5 tons...Ed, John and Andy each had 2 tons...Jr and Matt each had 1 ton...Ted wasn't "in the mood" to chuck any triple digit score... Jr had the high score of the night with a very impressive 180...way to wait till the finals...good job...Ed had a 138 and a 116... Ed had 3 double ins...John and Jeff had 2 double ins each...Jr had 1 double in...Ted was 0-2 at the ins...Matt was 0-1 at the ins....Andy didn't even get a shot at the ins... Andy had 2 double outs this week...great job little guy...we really needed them...Ed, Jr, Jeff and Ted had 1 double out each...Johnny and Matt just couldn't seem to find the double ring for an out... Jeff and John both had a 2.17 average in cricket... Jeff (3 @ 50.00%) had 3 >=3-mark rounds...Andy had 2 >=3-mark rounds....Ed, Johnny, Jr and Ted each had 1 >= 3-mark rounds each... Ted had a 60.00% win rate...Johnny, Andy and Jeff each had a 57.14% win rate...Matt had a 50.00% win rate...

CONCLUSION what a wild half...what a wild night...we jump out to a 2-0 lead in 801...we had a chance for the win in the 3rd game that would have likely put the nail in the coffin early...but we miss the opportunity....then we go on a 1-6 run...so while we were at 3-6 we were still in the game but things weren't looking good...Jeff and Johnny win the next game of cricket to put us at 4-6...we lose the next game to go 4-7...our backs are against the wall...Jeff, John and Andy win back to back games...Ed, Jr and Ted win the last 501 game...oh no...not game 15 and Andy shooting cricket again...flashbacks to Andy and Skippy losing to a girl in game 15 years ago pops in everyone's head...Ted starts with a 1 mark...Andy out of nowhere hits a trip 20, trip 19 and just misses the trip 18 into the single 18...a 7 mark round...sweet....then Ted hits 2 marks...Andy hits 3 marks...Ted comes back with 6 marks...then the nail biting begins...there must have been a force field around those 15's because in 5 rounds (15 darts) they only got 2 marks...somehow they hung on and eventually Ted hit 2 corks and Andy hit the last cork for the walk off...not our "prettiest" week ever but I liked the determination and our ability to hang in there when our back was against the wall...enjoy your time off until next year...but as always don't be afraid to pick up a dart and practice...This year was truly a team win...everyone did their part....CONGRATS to everyone for winning the CHAMPIONSHIP!!! 2ND HALF - YTD Leaders - FINAL Average - Jeff (70.94); High Score - Jeff (180)/Matt (171); Tons - Jeff (52 @ 24.64%); % of shots over 40 - Jeff (87.68%); Double Ins - Jeff (27 @ 55.10%)/Ted (11 @ 61.11%); Double Outs - Jeff (23 @ 56.10%)...
