SUMMARY We are coming off a huge win last week over the first place Currans....tonight we play the 3rd place Nicks who upset the 2nd place little lit last week...we jump out to an early 4 game lead...we lose the first game of cricket...we split the next 4 games of 501...so we are up 6-3....we somehow find a way to win the 2nd game of cricket...and we win the next game of 501 to win the night 8-3 and win the 2nd half finals....who would have thunk it...7 scrappy kids from around the block have now taken down the last 3 halves as Champions!!! Division 6, Division 5 and now Division 4...somehow everything seemed to come together towards the end of this half...and last night we probably shot some of the best darts I've seen in a while (well except that game where one team got shut out by missing 12 rounds of in shots)...everyone contributed in one way or another...5 different people had outs...6 shooters had over a 50 average...we had a team average of 57.12 and a cricket team average of 2.00...6 shooters shot more than 2/3 of their shots over a 50....when have these things ever all happened together??? It was fun to see and be a part of...all i can say is one more thing...WE WIN!!!! THE STATS
6 shooters over a 50 average is great...all weeks of the playoffs we had over a 51 team average...81.20 average in the finals isn't too bad...
6 shooters this week over 66.67%...all playoff weeks with team over 70%...awesome job...I guess I'll take 100% over the covers in the finals...
11 tons...way to hit the big numbers...I'm not giving Matt two thumbs down b/c he only played one game and almost had a 60 average...

Andy and John didn't even have a shot at an in...17 missed ins...12 of them were in one game where Ed, Jr and Ted got shut out...embarrassing...haha...
Matt didn't have a shot at an out...only 9 missed outs is awesome esp for the finals...John great job on the multiple outs...Oh yeah I stink b/c I couldn't hit an out...I would have liked the 152 out that I just missed...but I'll let you boys have your time to shine...
Luckily we won one of these games....
What can I say about Johnny having 3 squats in the finals in cricket??? That's right I picked his ass up!!!!

May be the first time I've seen everyone positive all half...and we do it in the finals...I love you guys...haha
Pretty powerful playoff run for everyone involved...Ed was only shooter not to be positive YTD for playoffs but he made a nice come back in the finals....but look at the loud little guy...it took him 5 weeks in the regular season to rack up a -42...and 3 weeks of playoffs he turns everything around with a +21...very very nice job in the playoffs by everyone...

CONCLUSION all I can say is WOW!!! I think we have hit our stride...3 championships in a row...and this half I wasn't quite convinced we were going to make it out of the first round of the playoffs...the first 5 weeks of this half we didn't even win a week...now in the playoffs we hit a resurgence...we beat the 4th place team 8-1 away...we beat the 1st place team 8-7 away...and we beat the 3rd place team 8-3 away....that's some damn good shooting during the playoffs...let's take a look at the playoffs overall... Team average by week....51.61, 51.26, 57.12...Jeff averaged over a 70 once and 80 once... % of shots over 40 for the team by week...72.63.%, 75.61%, 72.73%...Jeff had 2 shots under a 40 for the whole playoffs... Following shooters contributed with double ins...Ed (3), Jr (5), Jeff (7), John (1)... Following shooters contributed with double outs...Ed (1), John (4), Jr (5), Andy (2), Jeff (5), Ted (3)...darts is a lot easier to play when everyone contributes... Team cricket average the last 2 weeks...2.28, 2.00... Great season...guess we'll wind up moving up again...could make for a long 1st half next year...but if we can carryover to next year any of the mojo we had in the playoffs I hope we can be competitive...either way...think of what you want on your jackets...and most importantly don't forget to pick up a dart between now and next September...
