SUMMARY week 10...we are coming off a 3-12 week....then we had a bye for turkey day....so we should be all refreshed and ready to go...right???....but don't let that fool you...we sucked it up all over the place...we went 4-11 in the final week of the season when 7 wins would have guaranteed a playoff spot...so in the past 2 weeks we had 7 wins and 23 losses...that was a pathetic display of darts...so what's the one thing we learn from all this...that's right I hate to admit it but Andy is the glue that holds this team together...haha....the first half of this year was essentially 2 separate halves....the first 5 weeks of the half we went 46-29 and we won each of those 5 weeks....now the second 5 weeks didn't fare so well as we went 26-49 with only 1 winning week....that's about as bad for 5 weeks that we probably ever had in our history...so without any playoffs we will be dart free for about a month and a half...try picking up a dart during that time...any practice you folks can have only can help the cause... from 40 fines last week to 15 fines this week...Skippy is this week's winner of the "Prestigious Skippy Award" with 6 fines...
we missed our goal of a 50 average for the 2nd week in a row...Ted, Ed and Jr all hovering around 50...John with an uncharacteristic 40.01...and then their is "Shotgun Skippy" with a measly 34.64...even I can't shoot high enough to carry that...
Jeff has over 75% for 10 weeks in a row...Ted had a very nice 94.74% of his shots over a 40...that equates to 1 shot under a 40 all night...then the other bunch...Jr was close to 2/3 but just missed...and Johnny down around 50% is very uncharacteristic...and once again there is Skippy with only 30% of his shots over a 40....I'm pretty sure if he splashed he would have a higher average...
back to back to back weeks of single digit tons...Jeff had 4 tons...the rest of the team combined had 4 tons...and John and Skippy weren't "in the mood" this week...
Jeff had 3 high tons...including a patented 112 in...
2 shooters in the 30's..3 shooters in the 20's...
Jeff shot a 5 (or as I like to call it a ton of ones)...Ted busted on 54 but I won't count that 0...
11 missed ins...2 shooters (Ed and John) went 0-6...still too many missed ins...
only 3 double outs out of a possible 12...horrible...3 shooters combined went 0-14....
not many good averages here...
look at skippy banging out 50% of his shots >= 3mark rounds
2 real squat shots this week...6 more squats at cork...only Jr didn't have any squats....

Skip --> maybe we should stop darts and start bowling... John --> Skip hits trip 3 aiming at 20...Skippy --> yo I'm right here... Jr --> f u with that... John --> losing don't suck... NEW RULE --> if you miss a week you pay the fines for the person who had to sub for you...EDITORIAL NOTE --> so Andy that mean +5 for you...and Ted that means +12 for you...I like our new rule.... NOTE: if you want it in the blog just write it on the sheet...I don't discriminate... CONCLUSION a very very disappointing end to the half...we go from first place after the first five weeks...down to 5th place and missing the playoffs....unacceptable...maybe we need to implement a fine for every game you lose so maybe people have some vested interested in winning...oh well...let's put this half behind us...and bring a better effort next half...
